Walter Angerer is Chief Development Officer at Cohesity, leading product vision, strategy, and execution. With 25+ years in enterprise software, he has driven large-scale initiatives across engineering, product, marketing, and sales. Previously, he was SVP of Engineering at Veritas and held leadership roles at Toba Capital, including founding Parsec Labs and serving as CEO of Quorum. He also launched the AI startup Speak2Web and was SVP and GM at Quest Software. Walter holds a master’s in Atomic and Nuclear Physics from Johannes Kepler University and holds multiple patents in data compression and deduplication technologies.
